Batch Management Service Failed

I want to start a batch management service, but due to many other reasons, I am not able to start it. 

Note :  I go through the many references about maintenance mode enable / disable and also restarting IIS and Word Wide Web Service, but still I am facing the same issues. Is there any other way apart from that?

    Hi,
     
    1- Did you check SQL services if they are running or not?
    2- Do you have any new customization related to batch?
    3- Try to do full build for your custom models and synchronize the DB.
    4- Restart your Dev Box
    3- Restart IIS and World Wide Web services.

    The first thing I would check are event logs. Knowing what exception it was would be much more useful than just that there was an exception, and event logs could hold this information.
