Does Microsoft GP have ability to return data via ODATA?

Hello Team,

Could you clarify, does Microsoft GP allows returning data via ODATA?
If yes, could you provide a link to the specification?

All GP data sits in SQL tables. It's yours for the taking.

OData just gives you an option to pull GP table or view information into Excel, Power BI, etc.

It's just pulling data from the tables and/or views you publish to OData and more of just a reporting tool.

To add ODATA in GP I used this instruction - www.dynamicconsulting.com/.../

I made everything according to the instruction, but when I try to use generated URL, I receive the following message:

GET 44.194.124.31:443/.../MC020104

Error: connect ETIMEDOUT 44.194.124.31:443

What is the reason?

Most of the issues I ran into when using OData or GP Web Services / Web Client are related to improper setup of SSL certs..

Sometimes instead of trying to fix a failed setup, you better scrap everything and start from scratch, including deleting the related Web Services DB that was created.
