GP 2013 R2 Price List Utility not working properly

Running the Inventory Price List Utility (Inventory --> Utilities --> Price List Utility) and doing the following - Add Price List Wizard -->Price Method: % Of List Price -->Selecting a new price level I created -->Initial Percentage is 56.1% --> Picking a specific price group and inserting into restrictions.

Progress scans through all items but the list opens "Add Price List Wizard - Preview" and this window is blank.  I ran through one price list and it worked and now my other price groups are no longer working

Nancy, I realize this is an old post but I'm hoping you remember the fix.  I am also experiencing this issue and would like to know how you solved it.

    Thank you!

What exactly was the problem? I would like to update prices by a % of the selling price.

This has been resolved. Restored the Test Environment with a recent copy of Production and tried running the utility again.  Everything is working as expected.

I do believe you need to do further troubleshooting of the reasons above, and let us know your feedback.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

They are trying to add a new Price level which is % of List Price.  Since they are not using MC I am going to say that point Number 3 is what is causing the problem.  I also tested on my system but they have thousands of items so it is harder to do test across the board.   In the past they could use the wizard to "Add a Price List Wizard" and get.

Once a year they add a new price level, run the wizard to do a % of List Price to add the new pricing, and then they review the pricing and finish the wizard.  It is no longer working after we upgraded them from GP 9.

According to the manual, here are the points to be met when (Adding a Price List)

1- The item has the same price method selected in the wizard

2- For multicurrency, the currency must be assigned

3- the UOF can't already exist for the currency-price-level combination

I have just tested that and it is definitely working according to the above.

What are you trying to do, is it adding, updating or copying a price list ?

Just for testing purposes, have you tried to pick all the items in the lookup and see whether any of them is being retrieved to the preview wizard window ?

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,

    Mahmoud,

Thank you for your response but I checked and they are not using MC and the Price Group is using all of the same Price Method.  We just upgraded them from GP9 and he is doing the exact same process he did previously but now it is not pulling in any items.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello Nancy

The utility is working as designed, I have just tested that on GP 2013 R2 and everything is just as supposed to. I believe you need to consider the fact that not all items will appear though, the criteria to be considered is mentioned below

Reference: Inventory Control Printable Guide , page 287

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
