Hi All,
Is that we can have workflow mechanism for Inventory Management???

By default, in standard AX, there is no workflow for inventory management.
This needs customization.

Even If I create workflow category, type and approval. Where I can create workflow for inventory management.
you can develop this in AOT
and you can add the workflow menu item for inventory module, in respective module under setup node, that should represent a ListPage.
Kindly google it "AX 2012 Custom workflow" and it will answer you many questions. do refer back here if you got a specific issue.
Sorry to ask this, without creating a list page in Inventory Management>Set up, Can't I create a workflow for Inventory management.
workflows are categorized per module. and are placed in respective module.
The architecture has been designed to provide a sense-full deign of workflow framework, so that each module carried its own workflows.
Now each module has a menu item; the display menu items for workflows of each module, are named as WorkflowConfiguration****
*** reprsensts name of module.
each menu item has a EnumType Parameter which is set to ModuleAxapta
Value of enum parameter defines which module it is referring to.
So, if you will develop workflows for Inventory you need a new menu item, sames as WorkflowConfiguration*** e.g. WorkflowConfigurationInvent.
set respective enum parameter in properties and then drag the menu item in Menu of inventory module under setup.
