Send Emails from online Dynamics CRM to Gmail using POP3/SMTP

Hi,

I want to send emails from my Dynamics CRM online trial version to mail box. I have referred some links and tried the below steps

1) Created one email server profile (POP3/SMTP)

2) In Email Configuration Settings changed the server profile details.

3) In user form, added mail box

added my gmail account credentials. Then clicked Test&Enable Mailbox and then Approve Email

4) Now in My active mailboxes view, Test Run Status is showing In-Progress condition for quite a long time.

And finally it shows status as Failure.

Can anyone help me with this ??

Changing the port to 587 worked for Me. Thx Justin have been struggling for almost 2 days with this.

Hi Gokul,

Please change out going port to 587 then Test & Enable Mailbox. It worked for me.

Thanks for your reply. I already make changes as per the article. But it still not work. And authentication protocol field is always show disabled field basic.

Hi Gokul,

it looks like the authentication settings in your mail server profile are not correct. you should choose ssl / tls instead of basic.
