What is the difference between Parent.Xrm.Page.GetAttrinute(...) and Xrm.Page.GetAttribute(...).

Hi Jaret,parent.Xrm.Page.getAttribute() works in case of HTML web resources embedded in forms as this is the only way to access the form context from the HTML web resource.

In addition to that parent is window property . The parent property returns the parent window object from the window where you are firing event. Each Microsoft Dynamics CRM forms having XRM.Page name space. To get the XRM.Page object from external or embedded web page we generally use parent keywords.
