Unable to change receipt font size in, RMS 2.0

Hi all,

 

Trying to change the font size in RMS 2.0, SP4. Have changed the size in the xml file, and from within the backoffice receipt formats wiht no joy. Has anyone got any ideas?

    Thank you for your questions.

    How did you modify the receipt template? Can you provide an example?

    Did you reselect the receipt template after the modifications were made?

    Are you using an OPOS receipt printer or Windows drivers?

    Hi trent,

    I edited the xml file and changed the Large and Small fonts size,  and then saved over the original receipt. Reselected the receipt template, and assigned it to the register. No Joy. Tried ammending it also in the BO preview. Using OPOS drivers.

    Hello John,

    Do the fonts appear to be the correct size in the Journal Viewer?

    If so, please contact the manufacturer of your printer to see if it can handle large font sizes.

    Hi Trent,

    Standard Epson TM-T88IV printer.The fonts do look different in the viewer. Can I use a different font, Courier?

    Hello John,

    I don't see why not. Have you tried?

    How RMS interprets the receipt template and how your receipt printer interprets the print job may very well be two entirely different outcomes.
