Will CRM Allow me to delete Leads with related data?

Hi All

So I have inherited CRM maintenance and I need to delete about 25,000 duplicate lead records.
I've marked all these records current campaign as "DELETE ME" and there may be some records that have related data but will CRM only delete records that are stand alone? hope that makes sense!

Hi,

This will depend on the relationship behaviour between your entities. For example, if you have cascade delete behaviour, you will end up deleting related records.

Just to add, to get to the relationship behaviour between two entities, you need to go to settings -> customisations and open default customisations or the relevant CRM Solution.

Once open, you can navigate to one of the two entities and open its 1 to many or many to 1 relationship. You should see something like this:

Relationship behaviour is right at the bottom of the page. You can then check if it is cascade delete, no cascade, parental, etc.
