Issue using CRM 365 with latest Chrome version.

Since yesterday in Chrome when going to either Users or Teams in CRM Settings I just get a spinning wheel and it never loads the page. I think it may coincide with a Chrome update to 75.0.3770.80. Anyone else?

It is happening for two of my colleagues as well in two different tenants. Works fine in Edge.

    Hi Bozwell,

    Have you tried cleaning the Chrome cache?

    Yes I have cleared the cache. The first action for any odd browser problem like this.

    I am currently using CRM fine in the Brave browser, but Chrome still not working.

    I may downgrade Chrome to see if it makes a difference but that will clear all of my Chrome setup :(

    Similar issues reported by others users, normally doing a full refresh of the page loads the record or as a work around you have to use IE or Edge. Like you suggested, downgrading Chrome may fix the issue as well.

    Same issue here with latest Chrome version 75.0.3770.80 and CRM 8.2.5.0004. The setting for the routing stuck in the loading screen. Also the users have trouble to display the emails after opening them (The message content in the field "description" missing/empty). It did work after they refreshed the page. No problems with the IE so far.

    Just wanted to feedback some further discoveries I have made about this.

    Still getting the issue in Chrome 75.0.3770.100.

    Clearing Chrome cache makes the issue go away for a little while but it comes back. I think that Chrome have changed something about how the cache works that is affecting CRM.

    If I go to DevTools in Chrome and disable caching CRM works fine (while the devtools window is open). I have yet to have it fail as long as the cache is disabled, but this is a temporary workaround at best because I need to manually switch cache off each time I open Chrome.

    Would love to hear if anyone has found any better workarounds for this.

    A workaround could be to disable the Chrome flag #enable-lazy-frame-loading. The issue is that Chrome is lazy loading iframes. DevTools pointed me in that direction, since the views would turn up periodically while DevTools were enabled.

    This isn't a sure-fire solution, but the views at least load more than 50 % of the time.

    just throwing a "me too" out there, running D365 Online 9.1.0.5626 with latest Chrome, spinning wheel on Users and Teams screens. Using another browser works.

    It looks like it's bug related with bad way to set location of an iframe. I've fixed it by the following steps:

    1. Open file CRMWeb\_static\_controls\IFrameControl\IFrameControl.js for edit

    2. Find row: this.$1_2.contentWindow.location.href = $v_0;

    3. Replace to: this.$1_2.src = $v_0;

    4. Save changes

    5. Clear chrome browser cache

    Hi Bozwell,

    This bug occurred in EMEA.

    The version 76 of Chrome is scheduled for July 30th, which will help this bug, but the official has not yet confirmed about the date.
