We will be upgrading to GP2013 from GP10 next month and switching to MR2012. Each of our accounts (thousands) are using unit security in FRx. I know this will not migrate using the wizard, but is there a trick to using a copy and paste from the FRx tree into MR unit security column to speed up the process?

Here is a suggestion from David Laster, the author of our new book on Management Reporter:
Management Reporter does rely on the manual setup of new domain-based users in the Security section of the application.
The good news is that MR2012 does copy and paste well - both to and from Excel.
While I haven’t tried this specific approach to preserving Unit Security, it is certainly not out of the realm of possibility.
Most of the copy/pasting I’ve tried over the years into MR has been successful.
To accommodate the syntax changes that come with MR, I’ve used a little “concatenation” in Excel build the values I want to copy and paste into the building blocks.
