How to create a Backup of all information on CRM

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows how we can store and create a backup of our CRM data or how to export all our data to Excel or word, so it can be stored.

We have basically implemented a new system where by we no longer need Microsoft dynamics CRM, but we have to hold all our data for 6 years.

Is  there a way to get all our data and back it up?

    Hi,

    You should be able to use any of following options:

    1. You can contact Microsoft support and get backup of your CRM DB.

    2. You can use addons like Scribe, SSIS toolkit to export data for you in different formats.

    3. You can develop your own utility using .net/SSIS to export data for your.

    4. Lastly you can use export to excel as well

    Hi

    There are two ways.

    1)Check with microsoft and get support of DB backup.

    2)You have to use ssis or scribe tool get the data store in your local database
