Cancel Job Finish in SFC

We don’t have the licensing for Job Scheduling, but AX 2009 still creates JmgJobTable jobs for the purpose of time registration. One of my end users recently reported a number of JmgJobTable jobs as finished. I was feeling pretty confident about using the form "Shop Floor Control > Inquiries > Job status > Production status" to cancel the job finished. When I did it the function updated the JmgStampTrans (the transferred registration) so that it did not mark the job finished, HOWEVER, it did not mark the JmgJobTable as unfinished. This is a bit surprising. It would be very easy for me to write an X++ job or something to directly change the status on the JmgJobTable. I don't want to though. I feel like there really should be a way to do this in the client.

How do you reset the JmgJobTable records for setup and process back to unfinished in the client? Do I need to customize AX 2009 to make this available?

Yes. You would need to change that manually. There are some issues with the workings between jmgJobTable and prodRouteJob. Have you checked there as well?

I've always instructed my customers to manually uncheck the finished status on the jobs... and that seem to work, but it is not exactly "in  client" to do direct table changes.

It needs.to be changed, but remember to include prodRouteJob as well.

Thanks Fredrik. I manually updated it. I think I'm going to update the logic associated from the production status form so that my users can do it in the future.
