I have turned on the control for the editable grid on the opportunity entity but I'm not able to edit it. All of the fields are locked for salesperson role. It is working for system administrator.
Is I'm missing some permission for salesperson?
Any suggestion.

To Edit fields in subgrid security role assigned to user need following permissions:
1) Security Role -> Customization tab -> Entity -> Read Privilege -> Organization level Permission
2) Security Role -> Customization tab -> Fields -> Read Privilege -> Organization level Permission
If those privilege are given to security role which is assigned to user then user will be able to access fields in editable grid

Can you change the security permission Business Management >> Bulk Edit and verify the issue?

Yes, web us selected.
He has write access. He is not even able to edit his own records.
