Hi Guys,
I want to create some account/contact in crm via scanning our business card .
Is it possible without going through outlook ? because there are some app which through we can scan and save in our outook and from there we can create new contact . But I don't want to go in outlook . After sanning it should directly go in crm application and create account/contact.
Plz guide me what will be the best way to implement it in CRM.

You can also add additional fields if you want to capture for example notes or campaigns in addition to what you have on the business cards.

I'm not sure about that, but I think the CamCard app can do your job successfully. Or you can check out some more business card scanner apps.

You can try BricApp, whereby you can scan cards accurately through a combination of OCR backed by human validation and store data into Salesforce as well as exports a CSV file that can be uploaded into other CRM. If you're still looking for options, check out http://liid.com/. It has business card scanning to create contacts and direct integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. It's main point is in automating all data entry from calls, emails and meetings into the CRM, but it has the card scanner and other additional data entry features too.
There's a free trial to see if it's something that would be useful to you, iOS and Android.

Depending on what device you have there are many Free and Premium Business Card reader Apps available for your Mobile that will allow to scan and export your Contacts. I personally Use CamCard on Android, however many others prefer Iriscan etc as it can be configured to sync directly with MS dynamics CRM. If you don't want camcard to sync with outlook but directly with CRM then maybe try Resco Mobile CRM http://www.resco.net/ or

If you are looking for a mobile phone app, I've searched, but there aren't any real good solutions you might expect.
For a mobile solution this would be the best I've seen: www.fullcontact.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-crm. I've tested it and it worked pretty good. However you need to have a paid subscription to zapier to connect to CRM, which is quit expensive for just scanning cards.
If you want to do it with an old fashioned scanner then CardIris is something I've tested and worked pretty good: www.irislink.com/.../Cardiris-5---Business-Card-Software.aspx for only the software, or something like: www.toptenreviews.com/.../iris-review for a mobile scanner.
Or you can roll your own and use something like the Abby Cloud OCR to do OCR on business cards http://ocrsdk.com/
