Hi
We haven't used the statement facility in GP, previous management wanted lots of customisations so developed an offline, import, download, upload, wash your dirty laundry system. Needless to say it keeps breaking a few years later!
Now have buy in to return to basics as we have an online system for customer account management.
We have 1250 customers active and I would like to update the Email field (and cycle) using integration manager.
I thought this would be an easy one with a file containing ID, email address and Cycle (Constant Monthly)
Log suggests it works but when I review the debtor the information hasn't changed. Is there a known limitation on updating these fields using IM in GP10?

Thx Heather.
Where possibly I am trying to do things with available tools because like you, I don't like doing things directly in the tables.
Simple SQl for all of it would work so will now look at that.
Hi
I don't know if it is a limitation of Integration Manager or not. Is this a one off update or one that will happen regularly? If it is a one-off, you could do this update direct via SQL. I don't generally recommend straight SQL updates but I know that this one, particularly e-mail address, can work effectively as it only impacts one table.
The statement cycle could be changed on the Customer Class and rolled down to the customers that way.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Heather
