AFAIK, Carry forward from same leave plan from current to next year would not be possible (e.g. PTO > PTO).It was possible earlier. But as per the current design, the transfer should happen from one plan to another (PTO > Carry Fwd)
Here are the configuration steps that I followed:
- Create a leave type “PTO”
- Create another leave type “Carry Fwd” with zero balance
- Link the ‘Carry Fwd” leave type to “PTO” in the leave type master
- Create a lave plan for PTO and create accrual schedule as needed along with “Carry Fwd” leave type record.
- Assign this plan to employee.
- Run the accrue leave plan batch as necessary
The carry fwd balance for employee still shoes zero.
SO, I am not sure, how will the system understand when to shift the balance from one plan to another and how to make that reflected in employee leave plan balance?
