Exchange Log On - Login Failed

Hi All,

 

Error message 'Login Failed Check your login information & try again.

I'm using 64 bit Outlook & already set in System Preferences as Exchange. 

I log in as domain user as statement. My defaulted outlook account is accounts@xxxx.xx. This outlook account can send & received email successfully. But this email account is not an Office 365.

I already try a few times key-in as below but still failed.

Email Address: accounts@xxxx.xx

Password: statement windows id password

Login ID:

Email Address: accounts@xxxx.xx

Password: statement windows id password

Login ID: Domain\statement

Email Address: accounts@xxxx.xx

Password: outlook account password

Login ID: Domain\statement

Kindly advise setup that I need to check to prevent this error.

    Hi Vince,

    You have to check whether the email is on exchange server or not. In my case it is not. So the other choice is using MAPI instead of Exchange (setting in System Preferences - Administration >> Setup >> System >> System Preferences ). If using MAPI, you need to have a default outlook profile in pc that use to send the email statement.

    You either need exchange server or be using a 32-bit copy of Office in order to use MAPI
