This maybe a bit long winded, so apologise up front.
I have a request where a new app is required to keep the data / contents separate from other app. The other apps Sales, Marketing deal with business to business.
This app will deal mainly with business to consumer. They don't want the potential of these records to be included in any segment / customer journey.
They still require the capability that marketing app brings though. I think we have a licence for the Marketing app but can be obtained.
I've gone down two routes
Route one - Created a new app and solution and uploaded the records, which were held on an Excel spreadsheet. This was more of a learning curve but thought it may be a working theory.
Route two - Added the new group in the marketing app under the Customer banner. These seems to be a better solution but how will I keep the data only visible to certain people and not allow it to be included in a customer journey by accident
