i'm getting the following error when i try to update a field synchronously:

    'System.Activities.InArgument`1[System.String]' to type 'System.IConvertible'

    There is a type conversion error (implicit or explicit).

    Also try to add validation code for the input Argument before using it.

    Check your code.

    Hi there,

    This is a bug in your code. It's tough to tell exactly what's happening, but it looks like you have a custom workflow plugin with input parameters (a sting) and you have an invalid cast trying to cast it as IConvertable. Here's a sample of accessing string input parameters - msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg334455.aspx

    yourPropertyName.Get<string>(context)

    Unable to cast object of type 'System.Activities.InArgument`1[System.String]' to type 'System.IConvertible' . Are you casting string to a integer. Please convert your string to integer first .
