Dear all,

Is there a Workflow in Sales Marketing module of AX 2012 ?

Don't know of any workflows, but there are processes (which generate activities) on some Sales documents (like leads and opportunities and I think quotations)

Hi Tim,

Thanks for replying. Sorry but I'm very new about AX 2012 expecially for workflow here :)

Anyway, I tried to create new workflow. The steps is from Technet, however when I create this new workflow (I tried in A/R), there is an error while creating and when I check in event viewer, it says something like this :

"Workflow threw an exception for the following reason: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 10.1.2.27:8202"

Do you know what is that ? or anyone can help ?

Thanks. That is why I'm asking is there any Workflow for Sales Marketing module :)

Because I need the workflow processes for Sales Order approval process. Guess must create it my self. :p

Btw for error above, found the resolution. Just Full CIL Compilation will do.

No workflow for Sales & Marketing module of AX 2012 does not exist as part of standard Dynamics AX

But it is quite easy to add workflow for any table

You need to create

Workflow Categories

Workflow Types

Approvals

and Tasks

MorphX provide different wizard to create these object.

right Click these object and go to Add ins menu for Wizard to create these objects.

You need to create menu option for Sales & Marketing Workflows form

same as Account Receivable Workflows form
