Principal does not have createaccess rights

Our CTI is trying to create a note in a lead but we are getting this error. Could some help me what this error means and how to resolve it?

createCall{"errMessage":"Principal with id 69851aec-ad1c-ec11-b6e6-000d3a31a26f does not have CreateAccess right(s) for record with id 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 of entity activitypointer.

    Hi VincentT,

    This issue should be user missing privileges on some specific entity.

    Does the CTI have sufficient privileges to create notes?
