Hello All,

Hope all are doing well !!!

We have a requirement to display transaction data in the commerce app UI and on the app bar button click it should save the same data into a excel file of the pos machine.

We are able to achieve to display the data in the front end. Unfortunately, we are not able to create an excel file and save the file in the local pos machine.

Could you please assist us how we can achieve this?

Thank you in Advance...

I am not a developer. But this can be achieved using third-party plugins. We exported a file to . CSV format.  One restriction I recall was that you can only save the file to the user's download folder.

By third-party plugin, I was referring to a nuget package that can be included in your development project.

    Hi Shafeeque,

Thank you for your response. Basically we are trying to do it typescript. As I googled and found that there is a plug in as ExcelJs to write the data to excel. Here I am not able to understand how to configure the excel js in tsconfig.json file.

    Thanks in Advance...

If you want to use excel js then you can add the library similar to how knockout is being added, and also add the type file to the project so that you can access it from ts files.

I have installed the npm package for the exceljs in the library folder. It downloaded all the files that are dependencies for exceljs. Shall I configure the exceljs.d.ts file only in the manifest and tsconfig file and the same in the csproj file? Could you please guide me here?

    Thanks in Advance...
