Hi all,

I have the follwing issue by installation of dynamics crm 365 on a Windows 2016 server with a sql 2016 (2 node) failover cluster.

The creation of an organization has fails. I check the logs and saw, that the new database can't copy via fileshare to the administrative fileshare (c$) on the name of the virtual server name (sql cluster service name). The administrative file share is working on each node without issue, but for create of an new organization it seams that the deployment manager want's to have access via administrate fileshare of the virtual cluster name. This issue is only by create of orgaizations. The create and installation of the "config db" works successfully.

Do someone know, how I can create an organization in this case of an sql 2016 fail over installation? Is there a special installation step to perform here?

Hi Frank,

Were you able to create new org using FCI? I am also having issues creating an org in Dynamics 365 with SQL FCI.
