Resource replacement on job task

HI Experts 

After checking documentation, I cannot see any mention about alternate resources on job or job tasks.

Let's say I have a resources on multiple task, in multiple project, and this resource tooks a leave for one month.

Is there a standard possibility to automate reassignment during the resources leave at resource level, or at least at job level (reassign task job by job)

    This is not a standard feature, it would require a customization.

    If it is just a planning requirement you may consider this app: appsource.microsoft.com/.../PUBID.netronic|AID.visual-jobs-scheduler|PAPPID.9a08bc1f-7ac9-4671-b212-9076b2869e80

    This app allows for more planning capabilities. I believe one is to plan at resource group level thus avoiding reallocations: appsource.microsoft.com/.../pubid.progressussoftware|aid.progressusus|pappid.770fc3a0-ddab-43aa-93a5-6430f34f1b77

    thank you for confirming that this feature is not part of the standard.

    I finally could workaround it that by creating a new field "Second responsible" at project level, that will replace the ressource  in tasks assigned for the leave time periode of the person responsible ( in our company, the person responsible is the person who has the project task assigned), but only for job planning line not having time not posted and no Job Ledger entry.

    Unfortunately, on modifying the resource on a job planning line, we loose the quantity so we have to store them before changing the resource this give me the chance to create a column on job planning line in order to store the original quantity (loosed on changing the resource, or when we work more than expected, keeping the usage Link On)

    thank you for your reply Josh.

    I think it is better to submit an enhancement for increase collaboration in Standard Business Central. It really deserve it.

    I did a simple customization described in Kim posted replies.
