D365 Security: Role or duty to allow deletion of Products

hi

can someone advise what is the best role to assign to allow a user access to Delete a Product that has not yet been released?

Control Name: SystemDefinedDeletebutton

also if anyone can advise on some good material for managing security in D365 that would be great

    Hi raff,

    You can custom a role that has below privileges and assign it a user.

    Hi Raff,

    You mentioned a system defined button, but actually the access required is about deleting a product record.

    In this case, you can use a standard role, duty or privilege. Or you can choose to build a role yourself based on the duty or privilege:

    Role: Product designer

    Duty: Maintain products definition master

    Privilege: Manage product details
