Hi Experts,

I am trying to do Email Configuration in Dynamics 365.

For that I go to Settings --> Email Configuration --> Mail boxes --> Approve Email --> Test & Enable Mail boxes.

In this process Server profile is "Microsoft Exchange Online".

I am getting following two errors

Email cannot be received for the mailbox <Name>. Make sure that the credentials specified in the mailbox are correct and have sufficient permissions for receiving email. Then, enable the mailbox for email processing.

Email Server Error Code: Http server returned 401 Unauthorized exception

The email message "Test Message" cannot be sent. Make sure that the credentials specified in the mailbox <Name >are correct and have sufficient permissions for sending email. Then, enable the mailbox for email processing.

Email Server Error Code: Http server returned 401 Unauthorized exception.

How to solve this issue.?

Are you integrating Dynamics 365 online with Exchange Server Online?

Do you ha e access to manage the Exchange server?

In addition to Gopalan's questions, are you also an Office 365 global admin, not just a Dynamics 365 admin? Approving mailboxes for server side sync requires that O365 admin level.

Yes and I have access to manage exchange server.

Hi

In free trial You are given Plan 1.

In plan 1 there is no Exchange Online included.

Dynamics 365 online and Exchange online should be in the same tenant.

I am not sure, if you would be able to add Exchange server to the same Tenant if you go for Office 365 trial.

I have free and paid both instance with global user and facing same issue in both.

Exchange Online and Dynamics 365 online are in the same tenant?

If they are in different tenant, you cannot integrate.

I have not created Exchange Online separately, it is already included as default in my crm instance.

Does I need to do any steps for Exchange Online create/configuraion?

If no need to do. then both having same tenant/user.
