manufacturing order start dates

Hi:

Yes, I have set up my shop calendar, work shift, and data properly in my work centers.

I really don't need to be asked questions about the background of what I'm attempting.

All I know is that my manufacturing order start date starts not too long after I graduated college.  That's ridiculously far back.

To combat this, I have tried changing the units of measure in the routings and work centers and recalculating the calendars.

No luck.

And, the start date gets pushed back even further to the time when I was a freshman in college if I create a manufacturing order for a quantity of the finished good greater than 1.

Surely, someone out there has had this same problem and has a remedy.

What do I do to get a reasonable start date?

Thanks!

John

If you mean the date time below, it is not complicated to calculate in the code, it is equal to the earliest "Starting Date" in the "Prod. Order Line".  You can check if the "Starting Date" in the row is calculated correctly first.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

This is the same question you posted yesterday, to which the answer was provided to resolve your issue.  Post: Manufacturing Order Start Date in the Year 2003! (dynamics.com)

Now you ask the same question again with comments like "I really don't need to be asked questions about the background of what I'm attempting."

Knowing you are a partner supporting end-users, I fear for your clients.
