Please share your thoughts on the new feature in V44:
Validate Customer Account for Online Channels
This feature ensures that a signed-in customer can add items to their cart on the online channel, provided they are not flagged as blocked in the back office application.
We already have an option at the customer level. What does this new feature add?
I might be wrong here but previously, this flag is not functional for the E-Commerce channel, that is, even if an online customer is blocked in back office, they are able to order via E-Commerce and it only applied for the POS cash and carry order.
Starting from 44 this flag is now considered in the E-Commerce channel orders as well.
