Hi, 
I have a business scenario to cover where I need to make multiple org charts against one account only on this single page side by side? 
 
Can any expert advice if this is doable? Thank you

    Managing Multiple Organizational Charts for a Single Account in Dynamics 365

    Business Requirement

    • You need to manage multiple organizations under a single account, while maintaining separate financials.
    • You want to display multiple organization charts side by side on the same page.
     
     

    Possible Solutions

    1. Use Multiple Subgrids for Different Org Charts
    You can create multiple subgrids on the account form, each representing a different organization chart.

    🔹 Steps to Implement:

    1. Create a Custom Entity (e.g., Subsidiaries or Divisions) linked to the Account entity.
    2. Add a hierarchy relationship to link Contacts to Subsidiaries.
    3. Add multiple subgrids to the Account form, filtering each subgrid by different criteria (e.g., department, region).
    4. Ensure that each subgrid represents a different organizational structure under the same account.

    ✅ Pros:
    ✔️ Allows multiple organization charts on the same page.
    ✔️ Each subgrid can show a different structure based on filters.
    ✔️ Financials remain separate by linking them to different entities.

     

    2. Use Power Apps Custom Pages & Canvas Apps
    If subgrids don't offer enough flexibility, you can build a custom Power Apps page inside Dynamics 365.

    🔹 Steps to Implement:

    1. Create a Canvas App in Power Apps to visualize multiple org charts dynamically.
    2. Embed the Canvas App in the Account Form as an iframe or PCF control.
    3. Use Dataverse relationships to ensure contacts are linked properly.
    4. Use Gallery controls to display separate org charts for each division or department.

    ✅ Pros:
    ✔️ Full customization of how org charts appear.
    ✔️ Can pull data dynamically based on user selection.
    ✔️ Allows for interactive filtering and searching of org structures.

     
    3. Extend the Standard Hierarchy Control

    The Hierarchy Control in Dynamics 365 allows visualizing organizational structures but typically supports only one chart per account.

    You can extend this by:

    • Creating different Parent-Child relationships for different organizational views.
    • Adding a lookup field to switch between different organizational views.

    ✔️ Uses built-in Dynamics 365 functionality.
    ✔️ Supports drill-down capabilities.

     

    Recommended Approach

    ✅ If you need a simple solution, go with multiple subgrids.

    To display multiple org charts for one account on a single page side by side, try these options:
