Hi

Today we have strange problem with PO. The quantity order 155 is to be received and paid over the 6 months.

PO - total quantity 155
-------------------------------------------
July - received: 27 - remaining: 128
Aug - received: 22 - remaining: 106
Oct - received: 26 - remaining: 80
Nov - received: 26 - remaining: 27 (wrong. remaining should be 54)
Dec - (not enough to receive)

What would be the cause of this problem, and what would be the best way to solve this, please?

    Hi Ting,

I think it is possible to get into this scenario by manipulating the 'Deliver remainder' quantity.

For example, after posting the October receipt, someone could have gone to the PO Line and done 'Update line' -> 'Deliver remainder' and changed the deliver remainder from 80 to 53. Then, when posting the November receipt, you would see the 'Remaining quantity' as 27, per your screenshot.

To fix it, I think you should be able to go to the PO Line now, and do 'Update line' -> 'Deliver remainder'. Change the deliver remainder from 27 to 54. You should then be able to go and post December's receipt.
