How to edit (modify) a sub grid - Yes very newby question

I am very very very new to CRM.

I am using CRM 2015 online.

My mandate is to keep everything very generic (no customizations).

I have learned to edit a form, add fields, move fields, change labels etc.

But where I am stuck is how to edit what is displayed on the Sales Order form in the salesorderdetailsGrid.

How to I change what is displayed in this grid?

I do not have the SDK installed.

    Hi!

    A subgrid on a form is configured to show a specific View of records. To change what's shown, edit the form and click on the subgrid - this will tell you which view is being used.

    Once you know which view is being used, in the customization go the to entity for what's being shown (the sales order details), go to views, and open that view for editing. You can add or remove fields, and when you publish you should see the change everywhere that view is used, including the subgrid.
