Posting of Manufacturing Receipt entry is taking Too much time when posting in back dates

hello every one,

when I'm posting the MO Receipt entry in current date. It posted in no time but when I am going to post it in back dates It is taking more than 4 hours.

I am unable to understand why it takes too much time.

Here is a link to a Knowledgebase article on troubleshooting performance issues with Dynamics GP. I would recommend starting with troubleshooting 101. Does this happen as all users, on all machines, as the sa user? Then I would recommend tracing/logging the activity to see if it can provide any hints to the source of the problem.
