Hi All,
We have a requirement where we have multiple forms (form 1, form 2, etc. - main forms) in an entity (opportunity). Then, a user which a member of teams/s with same business unit. The user does not have direct security role and field security role assigned but inherit these from team/s where the user is a member of. All of these are setup already.
Let's the user was able to open opportunity 1 record using form 1. And then when the user tries to open opportunity 1 record using form 2 (change the form from form 1 to form 2), the user is getting an Access is Denied error message.
Note that all the main forms are enabled for all security role.
When I tried to remove the team of the user and given the user direct security role and field security profile, the user was able open the opportunity 1 record using form 2 (change the form from form 1 to form 2). Now, the user will not be able to open the opportunity 1 record using form 1 as it will prompt Access is Denied error message.
At first, I'm just using the security role copied from (i.e. Salesperson security role). But I tried to use the System Administrator security role and got the same result.
We are using Dynamics CRM 2015 On Premise (7.0.2.135) (DB 7.0.2.135)
Anyone have any idea on this?
Happy New Year, Everyone!
