HELP - Unable to build Segments based on Marketing Lists

Is anyone else experiencing issues with building Segments based on Marketing Lists. We're trying to build a Contact Segment of members that are part of a Marketing List. For whatever reason, the segment returns 0 members even though there are members in the marketing list. On occasion it will return the correct value. Here's an example of what we're trying to build:

In this example, the Marketing List contains 10 members, however it returns 0 members for the Segment.

I have the same question (0)

    Good morning,

I have found recently that Segments in Real Time can take a while to update if edited rather than created from scratch.

If you create a copy of the above Segment, and move to 'Ready to Use', does the Segment count still display as 0 members? Does your Segment contain any other query criteria that could be affecting the count?

    Kind regards,
    Fiona

We have the same problem, but only with newer contacts, old contacts are somehow included in the segment. Has anyone a solution?

    Hi Jaa,

I would recommend reading through this article on troubleshooting segments that show the incorrect member count. If the segment still isn't showing the expected numbers, I would raise a ticket with Microsoft.

I had to raise one in the last few weeks for a similar example - Microsoft had to make a fix in the back-end and the segments in Real Time are now working as expected for me in that particular environment, so might be worth them taking a look.

    Kind regards,
    Fiona
