Can I customize the Production Floor Execution screen layout and scrap reason logic in D365?

We’re currently using the Production Floor Execution interface in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management for our shop floor operations and want to confirm what’s possible in terms of layout customization and logic filtering.
Specifically, we want to:
1. Reposition the **Scrap Reason** field to appear beside or directly below **Good Quantity** and **Scrap Quantity**, so that all relevant fields are on one screen.
2. Filter the **Scrap Reason dropdown** based on the **operation type** (e.g., Cutting, Stamping, Threading), so only appropriate reason codes show per operation.
We’ve reviewed this official article on interface customization:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/production-control/production-floor-execution-tabs
However, it’s unclear whether those adjustments are possible through configuration alone, or if we’d need supported extensions or control development.
Can anyone confirm if these edits are supported — and if so, where in the system they’re managed?
Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

The Production Floor Execution pages are forms with a different style applied. You can configure the lay-out like other forms in the application and save the changes via Saved views. On these pages, you can find a button to save or load saved views at the top-right corner of the page.

Let us know in case you come across some limitations on configuration. It is also possible to extend these forms where you can make changes like hiding or adding controls. In case you want to create new forms with the same style, the form names should have some naming convention as you can read on the next page: Style the production floor execution interface - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
