We have an issue that happened suddenly after lunch one day this week. The shipping department prints a hard copy of each packing slip and picking ticket for the orders they are processing. suddenly the picking ticket will not print from the main company. Neither on the standard form or a template. The print job seems to get sent to the process queue in GP (we have tested by printing a report and leaving it open. we can see the picking ticket print job in the process monitor window). as soon as we close the report that was holding up the queue, the picking ticket process disappears and it does not appear that GP even tries to open the report window for output. It seems as though the job just disappears. This only happens in the main company. If we switch to any test company the picking tickets print as they should. I have asked if anyone made any config changes during the lunch hour, but of course no one is admitting anything ;). this is GP 2018 18.00.0672 (R2) on SQL server 2016 SP2. any ideas? our GP partner is not even able to figure it out at this point.
