    Hi,

You can set it up to post this way in the Company Options window. Go to Administration > Setup > Company > Options Button, and then select the option of Separate Payment Distributions.  This will get you the entry you want.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

In regards to this is there a way to get the system to do two separate journal entries for this?

One with the invoice date for the expense and AP and the other with the payment date for AP and cash?
