I am trying to install D365 Developer Extensions for CRM dynamics plug-in projects. As this is not published Microsoft, our IT security does not allow us to use this. Do you have any workaround/Microsoft authorized extensions that I can use.

If you need a version from Microsoft than you're stuck using the version which only works on VS 2015 and before.

They haven't yet introduced support for VS 2017 - you might want to go vote up the idea to add it:

BTW - I'm the author of D365 Developer Extensions - maybe try and have your security team audit the source code since it's all up on GitHub
