How can I troubleshoot an error message for the QQ menu?

1. I added a quick query view.

2. Deleted the base query in the QQ window.

3. Tried to re-enter the item in menu maintenance.

4.Deleted the xml's from the menu cache.

Still get the error message below:

    The key was to delete the reference to the old view from the Screens table before trying to re-save the base view in the Quick Query Viewer.

    1. I deleted the screen related to this base view from the Screen maintenance screen.

    2. Opened the Quick Query Viewer and created new base view by selecting the SQl view.

    3. Clicked Save to save the new base view.

    4. Added the access rights to the view to a user group.

    5. Added the base view to a menu group

    system message 10503

    could not find or access selected Quick Query entry. The Query may have been recently removed. logout/login to update your menu.
