Set Regarding (or alternative) email to multiple records

I know this has been a topic for years and most of the information I've come across seems to be old.

How does one use Connections to link an email to multiple records (leads, opportunities) in Dynamics 365 Online? I don't see a "Connections" tab o when I open an email record.

I am testing the new V9.0 in a sandbox environment and wonder if there are now any ways to do this. I'm surprised that after all these years, they haven't come up with a way to set regarding to multiple records!

You can create connections to email by the clicking on "Connections" under the related record. Check the below screenshot-
