Has anybody used an ingenico isc250 with RMS Store Operations Ver 2. I need a signature capture / CC device that I can use without changing my CC processor. The isc250 looks like a nice unit but I don'tnow if it will interface with RMS,
Thanks,
Tom

It seems that everyone is not using the RBA version but is using the OPOS version.
I know the ingenico 6550 were OPOS. You might need to get the device loaded for opos compatibility. I suggest you call Ingenico, but expect a quick response because my last dealing with them, it took a week for a response.
Hi
what RBA version, do I have to use?
and how to set it up with RMS 2.0?
we are using the Ingenico ISC 250 with P2PE through Shift4.
So far it works fairly well for us.
It is not a direct connection to RMS though.
After getting a hold of Ingenico, we've got the iSC350 working. But it's still the same awful working interface as the 6550(i.e. no prompt to swipe card, no way to hold/convey pre-swiped card info, etc) Has anyone written an add-on for this? At least something that would prompt to swipe the card would be miles above what it does now!.
where do you get the forms for this? I set one up, but it looks horrible(like the 6550) and I don't have the signature capture form...
Wasn't hotfix 38 included in the CU 5 update Jeff? I believe both HF 39 and 40 also include information concerning these devices too? I'd recommend taking a look at them as I'm pretty sure they do too.
Thank you. I will keep my eyes on HF 38 next week.
Actually last week something was mentioned on the Resellers group that an Ingenico device, they didn't mention the model, is being released in the next week or so.with HF #38
Bruce,
Did you setup and use line display of iSC250 with RMS?
I set Pole Display OPOS driver in RMS manager and I loaded the form file to device but the device does not display any info when I use RMS POS.
I was expecting the device will display the last scanned items and its related info.
Could you let me know if you have any info about it?
MS already confirmed it is working with POS 2009 but it seems like MS is leaving RMS as orphan.
Thank you.
Bruce,
Thank you for your comment.
I am using iSC 350, Windows 8 Prof. and RMS 2.0 with the most recent hotfix.
When I install OPOS driver for the device, many logical device names are registered in the registry.
Out of those, I can use IngSC3XX, iSC350, and Telium2 for my device iSC350.
I do not know why there are many but I believe IngSC3XX is the one I am supposed to use.
With tat device name, for Pinpad, I can open but I cannot claim the control of the device in test application.
One strange thing I found, If I use Telium2 as my logical device name, then I can control Pinpad as well.
However, RMS is not functioning well with Telium2 as OPOS driver name.
I still need to test a little bit further but RMS and device are not functioning smoothly with Telium2 as OPOS drive setting in RMS register setting.
I hope either MS or Ingenico will work further on RMS and OPOS drivers so that we can use tuse pinpad as well.
Thanks,
YGK
