Replace Older Customer Engagement License with Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise License

Hi, Currenly we have 1 Admin -Customer Engagement License & 4 Team Member License. If I want to replace these Licenses with 5 of Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise License. Then what are additional steps to configure them, as in Users & Security Roles needs to be adjusted , etc. Is there anything else to be performed.

Hello,

No additional steps are necessary to change users licenses. The roles will be kept and user will remained Active into environment. Maybe will be necessary review the Application roles to make sure that user has access to Sales app using the current role (custom or not). The only attention point will be regarding the limitations for the new subscription. In your case, for the Customer Engagement license, user will loose access to some application like Field Service, Project Service and Customer Service (applications included into old CE subscription).

Thanks Richardo for quick response.

Also we won`t require Other Apps, we just need Sales App out of that.
