Work not created when releasing production order

Hi all,

Setting up a new test flow for a customer, I struggle with the automatic pick- and put work creation of Raw material picking.

Searched for solutions and followed several threads within this forum but unfortunately I fail.

My BOM Item consists of two parts, several thousand of them available in stock

Any ideas or hints where to look further?

(I've cteated Work templates, Wave templates, Location directives and I've created input and output locations for the resources.)

Hi Hans Syd,

Kindly let us know what is error your are getting while clicking release to warehouse. Also kindly check the processing history i the wave for see for the details.

Setting up wave, work templates and location directive correctly is key.

Kindly share more details.

Hi Hans,

I am getting exact message while processing the 'Release' function on a production order. I have setup the location directives, work templates, wave template. I do not understand what I giving me the error.

Please share your experience and the solution which resolved this issue for you.

Do you have any record on location Directive Failure?

can you check warehouse management parameters.

if don't active work creation history log and share SS for your production order work creation history records.
