Only owner can revoke access to the owner: Plugin Exception

Dear Communities,

We have account postupdate plugin which revoke share access from current owner and updating new owner and plugin running on callinguser context but we got the below exception Only owner can revoke access to the owner: (callinguser guid) and (recordownerid).

Please let me know how we can workaround this issue.

    Kindly run your plugin under Admin user context in place of calling user. To update it GoTo->Plugin registration tool->update plugin step

    Hi There,

    This seems too be a bug in dynamics CRM. If you are running the plugin as admin - rather the calling user(please confirm that on the plugin step), it should work..

    as workaround what i can suggest it assign the record to calling user or admin then share is or unshare it accordingly.
