Import EcoResCategory via DMF

Hi,

I would like to know if there is an entity to import EcoResCategory data via the DMF import functionality.
I checked multiple entities but it seems the one which i found is not for DMF imports as it does not even contains the staging table.

I mean you have the name,level,parent and so on.

    DisplayOrder dertermines the sorting order on Category hierarchy form.

    For an example, in the screenshot below, Sports has a Display order value of 0.00, Apparel has a value 1.00 and Gifts has a values of 2.00. In the form they are arranged in this order.

    Hi Vicky,

    I don't see a field DisplayValue. ExternalId is saving GUID values from other systems in case you are integrating D365 F&O with another system

    Just wanted to ask what is the purpose of the Displayvalue and the ExternalId with value as {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}

    Hi Vicky,

    This entity takes care of the categories and hierarchies only. It doesn't import products. Please take a look at the underlying tables in the entity.

    Hi Gunjan bhai,

    thanks for the reply.

    I want to import the category and hierarchies and not the product.

    the one which you shared is related to importing the products associated with a hierarchy.

    Let me know if I am missing something important

    Hi Vicky,

    You can use EcoResProductCategoryEntity. You can set the Category hierarchy and import the records.
