Converting Quote to Order Error - Due Date is before Work Date

When converting a quote to sales order we get an error message for all the lines...

we select ok, when the order has a lot of lines this is very time consuming, how can this be resolved to stop it happening? :)

Do you have custom extension that are impacting the quote to order process or just customization in sales header and sales line.

Converting Quote to Order Error - Due Date is before Work Date

The simplest way would be in the quote to change the document date/due date prior to converting it to an order. I assume this will happen in the order anyway? As it doesn't make sense for the due date to be before the work date.

If you have access to a developer you can also customize the convert to order function to automatically update the document date of the newly created order to the work date so you don't get that message.

Converting Quote to Order Error - Due Date is before Work Date

time consuming shouldn't be an issue cause BC needs time to process the data, but the due date might be autofilled in a while ago and it doesn't make sense to convert a quote with due date jan 1 when you convert it to an order on march 20. Just update the dates properly and it won't complain.

Open "My Notifications" and remove the checkmark for notifications:
Either "Confirm Posting after Work date" or "Work Date Reminder" - not fully sure which one exactly this is.

But as Valentin already told, it doesn't really make sense to leave the Due date before work date, and better solution would be to update it in the Quote.

That worked :) It was the "Confirm posting after the work date." option we needed to untick but you got me to the right place to fix it, so thanks.
