Dear All,

Below is the message coming after deleting the app from azure portal against one of the client development VM. How can we reassign the app ID to dev environment.

Hi Afazal,

I haven't heard of someone deleting the app registration before. I understand that someone indeed would be able to delete it by accident. You can recreate it and then try to generate the self-signed certificate again. Set up the downloadable VHD for first use - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

If this doesn't work, you probably need to redeploy the local VM and then follow the process for the first-time use.
