If user interface language is different from base language does that translate field values too?

We have base language set as English, If we were to have a user in Spain - they would set their user interface language to Spanish.

If I were to write notes on a case, telephone call activity etc would the user interface language show them that text in Spanish? Similarly, if they were to enter in Spanish, would my English user interface language present their notes in English?

OR will the interface language only translate the field names etc on the forms?

Thank you

    Hello Sarah,

Navigation/Display Names for Entities/Fields/Display Labels for optionsets can be localized because it is metadata but the data (like notes, field values e.t.c. won't be translated). Data itself (like notes that you mentioned) won't be translated.

Sarah Lawrence, depending on how much non-English content and users you have, and the value of the business case of course, it is absolutely possible to use Azure Translator to actually translate the content:

    Hi Sara,

    I would also check:

Import translated table, form, and column text back into an app
     https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/data-platform/import-translated-entity-field-text

    Thanks,
