I am hoping to send a Marketing email to a view provided to me by the Sales team.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,
you can create a dynamic Marketing list (targeted to contacts)
that on "Manage Members" will allow you to
Use Saved View (selecting the view you were given)

    then create a dynamic Segment
(using the "Subscribes" template (selects contacts who have joined a subscription list)
    changing its query to
    Marketing List
    IS
    the Marketing list created above

and finally use that Segment in a customer journey that sends the email

Thank you! Is it possible if the view shows Opportunities?

eg. The view shows opportunities -  I would like to email everyone listed within each company within the view.

    Hi,

First of all, please check the filter criteria of the view.

For example, the view contains all the opportunities whose Topic begins with "A".

Then you can create a dynamic segment something like the following one:

After going live, it can be used as the audience of the customer journey and you can send the marketing emails to the contacts for the opportunities.

    Hello!

As the view is from the Opportunity table, the first thing you need to check is whether this table is listed in the Marketing Data Configuration.

In the bottom left hand corner, select Settings then select Dataset configuration:

This is the list of tables that are synced with the marketing app. Out of the box, Opportunity is not included so check if yours has been added:

You can add the table if necessary from here, but it's important to note that once a table is included, it can't be removed. So check with your Sys Admin first!

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    Deborah
