Warehouse Sales and Putaway work

Hi i think i know the answe to this, but wanted to see what others have to say around this scenario.

is there a way in d365 for example sales order work is created from a location in a racking aisle we will call aisle 1, and then when a putaway is created from a PO or Transfer receipt some logic recognises that work is open in aisle 1, so direct also the putaway to the same aisle, but a different location?

interested to know if anyone has found some way to acheive this or something close, or if simply it isnt possible.

Hello tl82,

I am not clear about the scenario, but if i understand the requirement correct the expectation is that while you have a open work order for sales to be picked from Location1 any inbound through PO or Transfer receipt should direct the put to Location1.

The answer is No.
